Driving and a cancer diagnosis

You do not need to tell DVLA if you have cancer unless the condition (notably brain tumours – more information at this link on the Macmillan website) or treatment may impede your ability to drive. Please follow these links to the government website for more information: Cancer & Driving, A-Z of conditions that can affect driving. If you need to contact the DVLA about your medical condition for any reason, there are several ways to do this: follow this link or tel: 0300 790 6806.
